The beginning of the summer began with a trip out to San Diego so Daniel could do some job hunting. What we thought the trip would only be a week and a half, but it turned into a three week trip. The kids and I spent tons of time with family, going to the beach, park and pool. Daniel spent tons of time contacting and meeting with landscape architecture firms. We had a great time. The weather was great, which I was particularly grateful for since I am carrying a mini heater with me all the time. After the three weeks we thought it was about time we get back to Tucson to check on our house and get back to some sort of routine again, but it was short lived. We again went back out to SD for my cousins wedding and were again there for a little over a week. The wedding was beautiful. It was on a yacht chartered in New Port Harbor and the sunset was gorgeous! I must say though thank goodness for sea sickness medicine. ha ha Since coming home we have been spending much of our time indoors and braving the heat when it is not completely stifling. As you can see from most of the pictures of the kids they prefer to spend their days in their underwear or swimsuits. You can't blame them when it is 107 and humid out. If we do get out it is usually to the library a friends house or a store where we can run from one air conditioned area to another. Below is a taste of our summer so far. We were pretty terrible about taking picture and when we did ofter the battery would die on us (Oops!), but we did manage to capture a few moments in time.
